The Harbour Front Literature Festival is looking forward to a special evening with Eckart von Hirschhausen. The patron and founder of the »Gesunde Erde-Gesunde Menschen« foundation will be opening his »practice« for music, humanity and the courage to change at the Elbphilharmonie. The doctor, science journalist and bestselling author combines humour with attitude, science with joie de vivre – and asks: How can we live well – with ourselves, with each other and on this planet? What does a coral reef sound like? And what makes us sound?

Please note: This event takes place in German

Music is everywhere, in nature, in all cultures of the world and medicine is currently rediscovering its healing power for body and soul. Together with pianist Christoph Reuter and violinist Mareike Neumann, the audience experiences classical music and cabaret, goosebumps and singing, lots of improvisation and surprising aha moments, how music shapes us even before we are born, how it makes us happy – and can also save the world a little. A doctor’s appointment for physical, mental and planetary health.
