Tierbrücke – Jede Seele braucht ein Zuhause

A group of budding animal rights activists have been working on a huge project for over two years: building a home for war animals in Ukraine. The story of the »Tierbrücke« is now coming to the movies. The journey of Malte Zierden, Phia Quantius, Broder Böll and Hubertus Zeck began almost too naively in a country at war. Together with the internationally active animal welfare organization »Notpfote Animal Rescue e.V.«, content creator Malte Zierden took a trip to Berehowe in western Ukraine over two years ago and visited a small local animal shelter there, which was completely overcrowded due to the war. The subsequent appeal for donations raised over 100,000 euros from his community for the animal welfare organization Notpfote – enough to finance a new animal shelter for the region.
