Shogo Seifert’s RAUKE

Jazz, Blues, Swing & Chanson
Laeiszhalle (Studio E), Hamburg

RAUKE, a project by Berlin-based German-Japanese trumpeter and composer Shogo Seifert, combines a classical string quartet with a jazz quartet. Their music blends contemporary jazz with the gestures of classical music, drawing influences from the American and progressive jazz scenes, while defying simple categorization. Each piece takes the audience to unexpected places—sometimes gentle, sometimes powerful, always with an element of unpredictability.

Please note: For organisational reasons, the concert has been relocated to Studio E of the Laeiszhalle.

Their debut album »Causes of Imagination« (2025) has already received critical acclaim: »A real highlight« (Jazzfun), »a bold and truly impressive experiment« (Musikansich). Distinctive and yet accessible, RAUKE’s music invites both curiosity and emotional connection.
