With »Rock the Opera«, conductor Friedemann Riehle achieves the impossible: a perfect fusion of classical music and rock. Riehle originally conceived the programme for his concerts at the Vienna State Opera. Together with the orchestra, he catapults rock music into a new dimension while preserving the atmosphere and power of the original songs. In October »Rock the Opera« comes to the Laeiszhalle with a brand-new program. Outstanding rock vocalists, a band, and a large symphony orchestra guarantee an evening to remember.
