About the play: The youngest miller's son inherits only a cat. He wants to have gloves made from the cat's fur, but the cat persuades him to have boots made instead. With his boots, the cat causes quite a bit of confusion, but he orchestrates everything so cleverly that in the end the formerly poor miller's son is rich and wins the princess as his bride.
