PEKING als ARETHUSA

Guided Tour

The PEKING was a stationary sail training ship of the English Shaftesbury Homes and ARETHUSA Training Ship Co., based in Upnor, a small village in Kent, from 1932 to 1974. On board, boys aged 10 to 16 learned seamanship as well as carpentry and tailoring. Upon completion of their training, they received basic equipment for a seaman. The approximately 60-minute tour offers insights into daily life on board during this period and takes place every second Sunday of the month. HOW TO GET YOUR TICKET: Please book a ticket via our online shop. Please ensure that you have selected your desired date and time. Up to six people can be registered per booking.
