Cigarette smoke in the semi-darkness, disreputable bars of the 1920s: Mechthild Großmann only has to raise her voice and we are there. At her side is pianist Gottlieb Wallisch, a specialist in the light music of the early 20th century, who not only has his Kurt Weill in his little finger, but also forgotten musical treasures of the time.
