Lüneburg Sings Christmas Carols

Big Sing-Along Event on the Eve of Christmas Eve

"Simply singing together in a joyful atmosphere – with Christmas carols everyone knows" – that's how the organizing team from the District Choir Association, the Catholic Church of St. Mary, the Evangelical Youth, and the Protestant-Lutheran Church District of Lüneburg describes the pre-Christmas singing event: On Tuesday, December 23 at 5:30 PM, everyone is warmly invited to a sing-along event between the Town Hall and the Christmas Market.

A short greeting from the Hanseatic city will once again be given by Mayor Claudia Kalisch.

"We’re looking forward to many people joining in the singing or just listening, getting into the Christmas spirit, finding strength, or simply having fun," says Pastor Dr. Dorothea Noordveld from the organizing team. This is the fourth time the event is taking place – and with a growing audience each year.

- Donations collected for the “Good Neighbor” initiative
