Kulturerbe Bauerndome Hadelner Land II

The Hadeln region's "farmers' cathedrals" on the North Sea coast form a unique ensemble of medieval churches. St. Jacobi in Lüdingworth , built at the end of the 12th century, is considered the most beautiful of these churches in the Cuxhaven-Hadeln parish. The large three-manual organ, one of the most valuable in Northern Germany, provides the sonic backdrop for Soyoung Park's interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach's Partita No. 2 for solo violin – including the famous Chaconne, a technically and musically fascinating piece about death and resurrection.
