Jungle Book - The family musical

In 2025, the musical version of the classic children's book, written and composed especially for the Burgfestspiele, will have another season.

One day, a small child suddenly appears in the middle of the Indian jungle. The little one escaped when Shere Khan the tiger attacked his parents. Fortunately, he is taken in by a pack of wolves and given the name Mowgli. Here the little human learns to live like an animal, makes friends with Bagheera the panther and is taught the laws and secrets of the jungle by Baloo the bear. Mowgli soon feels completely at home in the jungle. But one day Shere Khan returns and the greatest adventure of his life begins for Mowgli, who

meets all the well-known characters from the original story on his exciting and fascinating journey through the jungle:
