Summer 1985. In a sleepy small town, a time begins for 15-year-old Sam that changes everything. Between exhilarating nights at the movies, new friendships, and his first great love, he discovers a life that suddenly feels vast and possible. But into the midst of this fragile happiness comes a loss that forces him to say goodbye and rediscover himself.

Hard Land tells a story of belonging and new beginnings, of friendship, grief, and the moments that leave an indelible mark – like a song that lingers long after.
