The Klabauter Ship on a Journey – 6:00 PM & 7:00 PM (Family Program Theatre Night)
How does an adventure actually begin? A witch flees her selfish ex-husband, a wizard. She wants to travel to the other side of the world in a self-built magical ship. But soon an unusual crew gathers on board: a painter, a fairy, the robber Hotzenplotz with Jennifer and her sheep, Tabaluga, world star Maddy Monroe, and many other characters. Together they find themselves in the Bermuda Triangle, encounter the Ice Queen, search for a mysterious treasure, and face magical dangers. From spontaneous encounters, surprising twists, and the imaginations of the participants, the story of the magical ship emerged during an improvisation workshop: an adventure full of humor, music, improvisation, and the joy of storytelling together. Led by Tom Kramer
In Our Bodies – In Our Nature – 8:00 PM & 9:00 PM (Theatre Night)
In Our Bodies – In Our Nature is a dance and performance project that explores the connection between the human body and the natural environment, transforming it into an artistic playground. Through movement, voice, and performance, the performers embark on a choreographic quest to uncover the interconnections between bodies, plants, landscapes, and atmospheric forces. Magical, fantastical, and yet ordinary, everyday, they ask: Where does the body end – and where does the “natural” environment begin? Is there a “nature” that is separate from us? Who or what in this “natural” world has a voice, and whose voice is heard? In Our Bodies – In Our Nature invites the audience to perceive their own body as part of a shared ecology and to explore new forms of connection, care, and coexistence with the living world.
