Hamburger DOM - Winterdom

The DOM is a piece of Hamburg tradition and guarantees games, fun, thrills and nostalgia. The term goes back to a gathering of traders, craftsmen and jugglers who - after some friction - were given the right to stay in the Marien Cathedral when the weather was bad since 1337. At the end of the 19th century, the showmen found their "new home" on the Heiligengeistfeld. On Fridays at around 10:00 p.m. there is a big fireworks display!
