The blood donation takes place in the auditorium of the elementary school Kirchgellersen in the time 15:00 o'clock to 20:00 o'clock. Childcare is provided from 15:00 to 18:00.

Requirements for the blood donation:
Every healthy person from the age of 18 up to the 73rd birthday with a minimum weight of 50 kg can basically donate blood. The doctor from the blood transfusion service will decide on-site if it will be possible for the donor to deliver 500 ml of blood on that day. There must be at least 56 days between donations. Women can donate blood four times in 365 days and men six times. On that day, the donor should have had enough to eat and drink and bring his identity card and, if available, his blood donation card. If you want to donate for the first time, you should not be older than 64 years.

The take takes 7 - 10 minutes and then there is a snack to strengthen.
