Anne-Sophie Mutter / Berliner Barock Solisten

Classical Music
Elbphilharmonie (Großer Saal), Hamburg

Humanitarian aid projects have long been a hallmark and a labour of love for star violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter. As part of this charity concert, she is supporting Welthungerhilfe with her project »Nutrition Smart CommUNITY«, which helps people to help themselves: »Worldwide, 673 million people still suffer from chronic hunger«, says the artist, »but we have the knowledge and the tools to bring about lasting change. Welthungerhilfe has been successfully implementing precisely such solutions for decades by combining acute aid in crises with long-term development cooperation. That is why I am committed to using my voice and my music – and I invite everyone to become part of this commitment: with attention, compassion and support.«
