Akademie-Abschlusskonzert der Symphoniker Hamburg

Classical Music
  • Laeiszhalle (Kleiner Saal), Hamburg

For the fourth time in a row, the Orchestra Academy of the Symphoniker Hamburg will present itself at the end of the season with its very own final concert. The Academy is made up of 17 young musicians from all instrumental sections who are just on the threshold of beginning their professional careers. Throughout the entire 2025/2026 season, they will accompany the Symphoniker Hamburg, gaining in-depth insights into the workings of an orchestra. In addition, they will receive regular one-on-one lessons, take part in a variety of workshops, and benefit from intensive chamber music coaching led by Symphoniker Chief Conductor Sylvain Cambreling and various orchestra members. As the grand finale of this formative experience, all Academy members – grouped into several ensembles – will present themselves in a dedicated chamber concert featuring a program whose musical breadth and richness of facets reflect the spirit of the Symphoniker Hamburg and their Academy.
