It's starting again - the 48h Wilhelmsburg is starting for the 16th time - this year from June 12th to 14th, 2026.
For 15 years, 48h Wilhelmsburg has showcased the musical diversity of Hamburg's Elbe islands: musicians of every culture, genre, level of experience, and age group perform in everyday locations for their immediate neighbors. We travel from Veddel, through the Reiherstieg district, to Kirchdorf-Süd. Four walking tours, three waterways, and two bike rides offer a vast array of music to discover. Whether you cycle across the island, swaying to psych-rock, hip hop, and gypsy swing amidst massive concrete structures and tranquil gardens, or paddle on the water and listen to the diverse musical sounds, there's something for everyone. Live music can also be experienced at six larger open-air concert venues.
