Embodied Fictions – Staging the Self Each of us plays a role – sometimes without even realizing it. We use clichés or break them apart. Our culture shapes how we present ourselves, and we shape it in return. Artists use this very creative power to challenge prejudices and taboos. Some transform their lives or fantasies into art that makes us think. Joy Stick presents her favorite works of the Kunsthalle, showcasing strong voices of women and the LGBTQIA+ community. She invites you to recognize old patterns and rethink them. Come by, get inspired, and discover how art and performance break boundaries.
