After the brilliant evening with comic artists and musician Brezel Göring three years ago, Strips & Stories returns to Nachtasyl with music and new song comics. The occasion is the recently published volume about the brilliant work of Hamburg hip-hop kings “Fettes Brot”. In the song comic “Schwule Mädchen Sondereinheit” (Ventil Verlag/Tapete Records), ten comic artists completely reinterpret the most important hits as comic strips. Six illustrators are invited to present their song comics on stage, moderated by co-editor and music journalist Jonas Engelmann. Each song will be accompanied by a short introduction with the bands' liner notes. At the end there will be a signing and a DJ set to lead the audience into the night.
