Sandcastle competition - the big digging competition to kick off the season

Under the motto "On the scoop - get set - go!", we will kick off the beach season on May 3 from 1 p.m. together with 13 towns along the Mecklenburg Baltic Coast.
Dig alone, as a family or as a team of friends - every sandcastle counts!
On the beach at Hohen Wieschendorf, we mark out a field for each team, which also includes a beach chair where parents, grandparents and friends can make themselves comfortable. Just enjoy the sun and dig and build to your heart's content!
Buckets and shovels are provided. Decorative materials (natural materials only, please) can of course be brought along or collected in the adjacent forest on the cliffs.
Registration is required by May 2, 2025 at the latest - depending on space, spontaneous digging enthusiasts can also register on site on May 3.
