The historic, steam-powered floating crane SAATSEE was once used for lifting and moving particularly heavy or bulky objects in, on, or at the locks of the Kiel Canal, for pulling dolphins, or for wreck salvage. To mark the port's anniversary, the SAATSEE's impressive steam technology will be demonstrated, and an on-board exhibition will be on display.
