Experience the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Police Orchestra live on the market square. Under the direction of Cornelius During-Schwarzmaier and the voices of Katrin Lièvre and Noora Koivumies, a musical highlight awaits you. As a musical ambassador for the police, the orchestra delights audiences at over 130 performances every year.
The main orchestra comprises 30 talented musicians and an impressive vocal soloist. You can look forward to a varied repertoire that includes traditional wind music (marches, polkas, waltzes), film music, melodies from musicals and operettas, original compositions for wind orchestra and transcriptions of overtures or symphonic-concertante works. The orchestra also offers modern titles from rock, pop, funk and Latin in a lively big band sound.
