Discover music with the Creator in Residence: On the second day, »Derrick Gee’s Radio Weekender« transforms the bar in the Kaispeicher into a pop-up marketplace – there will be a live podcast on stage and, as a musical highlight, a short concert with academists from the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. Derrick Gee will host the afternoon and talk to musicians and guests. In addition, visitors can experiment with six fully equipped modular synthesiser systems, browse through the record crates of Honey Bucket Records and enjoy coffee and cake.

This season, Derrick Gee discovers the Elbphilharmonie as Creator in Residence and is sharing his experiences with his 1.5 million followers on social media. After the first live event in Hamburg, his »Radio Hour« in November 2024, the Australian, who describes himself as a »professional music fan«, now curates an entire weekend of events.
