Three-day writing coaching sessions in the idyllic Dammereez manor house. Unique combination of feedback and inspiration, voice training and yoga.
Are you thinking about finding balance and meaning in writing? Are you perhaps already active and have treasures waiting to be appreciated in your drawer?
At the idyllically situated Gutshaus Dammereez, (aspiring) authors will find a unique combination of feedback and inspiration. The personal exchange of ideas and writing projects offers participants orientation: Where do I stand? What are my strengths? How can I get what I have in my head onto paper? And how do I bring order to my manuscript?
There will also be impulses and exercises on writing and, on request, information on the book market.
The offer is supplemented by professionally led voice training and yoga classes - because you need a voice to write and also a relaxed view of your own thoughts and feelings.
The 3-day courses take place in small groups of five to eight participants. There are three dates to choose from in summer 2025:
- Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18
- Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13
- Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7
320 euros, meals are included in the price.
Overnight stays in the manor house are possible (approx. 110 euros for 2 nights in spacious, individually furnished rooms).
Writing coach Dr. Bettina Burchardt has been accompanying people on their way to writing a book since 2014. Some of them have made it onto the Spiegel bestseller list from a standing start. But books, biographies and volumes of poetry aimed at a smaller audience or for private use also become personal success stories.
Gutshaus Dammereez is located south-east of Hamburg and is privately owned. After initial, extensive renovation work, it has become an inspiring meeting place. The Dammereez Writing Days take place in the small hall of the manor house, which offers direct access to the historically significant English landscape park. Here, the centuries-old trees invite you to make discoveries and enchanted places offer individual retreats.
