TIKO Wismar

The cultural center TIKO presents: Landscapes, structures and longings by Jörg Althofen. New works in oil and acrylic on canvas and wood. Catering will be provided.

Old and used up? Not with Jörg Althofen! After studying art (painting class) and art history in Frankfurt am Main, he moved into other lines of work. Now, in his old age, he has more leisure time for his true passion and sometimes paints quite expressively. In addition to vivid landscapes and figures in oil and acrylic on canvas, he also works on complex structures with other materials such as sand, plaster, fabric, cloth or rock flour. Are you smarter now? Probably not! So come along, take a look and be surprised. Of course, you can also take a closer look with the artist.
